Kane Biotech Announces Grant of Options

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/03/09 -- Kane Biotech Inc. (TSX VENTURE: KNE), a biotechnology company engaged in the development of products that prevent and disperse microbial biofilms, announces today that it has granted an aggregate of 465,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.15 per common share, to employees, officers, directors and a management company employee of the Company. The options are set to expire five years from the date of grant and are subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Biofilms develop when bacteria, and other microorganisms, form a protective matrix that acts as a shield against attack.
